Each capability can be switched on per domain, and each record can be served straight from DNS or through the edge.
Authoritative DNS
Zones served from Cachivo nameservers in several countries, with DNSSEC signing, secondary zones by transfer, and changes live across the network in seconds.
Content delivery
Proxied hostnames are answered by our edge, which caches static responses close to visitors, with per-path cache rules and on-demand purge.
Automatic TLS
Certificates for proxied hostnames are issued and renewed for you. Visitors connect over HTTPS to the edge; your origin can keep its own certificate.
Web application firewall
The OWASP core rule set inspects requests before they reach you, with a reference ID on every block so a false positive can be found and excepted precisely.
Rate limiting and access rules
Per-client request limits, bot filtering, and blocking by IP address, country or network, plus your own firewall rules and a time-boxed emergency protection mode.
Visibility and automation
Traffic analytics and an edge error log for every domain, team accounts, and an API with scoped tokens for everything the panel does.

Nothing is copied to us. Your server keeps serving your content; Cachivo becomes the address the world asks for it.

Before you change your nameservers
The things people ask first.
Do you host my website?
No. Your site stays on your own server or hosting provider. We answer DNS for your domain and, for records you proxy, pass visitors' requests to your server, caching what can be cached.
Can I stream video through Cachivo?
Not through the edge. A hostname serving streaming media is moved to DNS-only automatically, so it resolves straight to your own server and keeps working — it is rerouted, never blocked. For streaming delivery, see Cachivo L7.
Where are your nameservers?
In several countries and jurisdictions, so no single provider decides whether your domain resolves. The current list is on the specification page, and live health on the status page.
How do I pay?
Each domain is on its own prepaid plan, charged from your account balance. Balances are topped up with cryptocurrency, and payments are verified before they are credited.
How do I report abuse on a site using Cachivo?
Use the abuse report form — no account needed. Every report gets a reference number and is reviewed by an operator.
