What we collect

  • Account data — your email address, a hashed password, and your balance and transaction history.
  • DNS records you create, and the domains you add.
  • Edge access logs for domains you proxy: timestamp, requested path, response status, bytes, user agent, and the visitor's IP address and country.
  • Operational logs — sign-ins, configuration changes, and the audit trail shown in your panel.

What we do with it

We use it to run the service: routing traffic, billing you, showing you your own analytics, and investigating abuse or outages. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Visitor data

When you proxy a hostname through us, we process your visitors' requests on your behalf. You remain responsible for telling your visitors that you use a content delivery network, and for your own lawful basis for processing their data.

How long we keep it

Per-request access logs are aggregated into hourly counters and the raw lines rotate off the edge within days. Aggregated analytics, your audit trail and your billing records are kept for as long as your account is open, and billing records for as long as we are required to.

Who else sees it

Our infrastructure providers necessarily carry your traffic. We disclose customer data to third parties only where compelled by a lawful order that is binding on us, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.

Your rights

You can export or delete your DNS records at any time from the panel. To request a copy of your account data, or its deletion, contact privacy@cachivo.com. Deleting your account removes your zones from our nameservers, which will stop your domains resolving.

Security

Passwords are hashed with Argon2. TLS private keys and two-factor secrets are encrypted at rest under a key held outside the database. Two-factor authentication is available on every account.
